Proteinase K is an enzyme used to digest most proteins in molecular-biological techniques. The enzyme may be used at 56°C for up to 4 hours, or 37°C for overnight incubations. Proteinase K is available as a stabilized stock solution (20 mg/ml). Proteinase K solution is stabilized with a specially formulated buffer and can be used directly from the freezer.
Meridian electrophoresis reagents include agarose and buffers. The DNase/RNase free agarose is available as powder and is ideal for high resolution separation of a wide range of DNA/RNA fragments. To complement this are a selection of DNA Ladders and loading buffers. These products have been specially developed for convenience, efficiency, and to help standardization of nucleic acid electrophoresis.
